Yemen on World Map
Yemen is a sovereign nation and covers an area of around 527,970 sq. km. The mainland of Yemen lies in the Arabian Peninsula of Asia. The country has an extensive beach of approx.2000 km and more than 200 islands. As you can see in the world map Yemen. Socotra Island isalso part of Yemen. Yemen has the most fertile lands in the whole middle east. But still, most parts are not developed to their full extent. Along the Red Sea coast, there is a flat sandy plain that runs the length of the country.
The coastline of the Gulf of Aden is covered with a rocky, narrow, and relatively flat plain, surrounded by hills that rise in the middle and west into rugged mountains. On the north side of these mountains, high desert slopes through fertile plains in the inner of southern Saudi Arabia, and the endless sand “Rub’ Al Khali Desert”. This is the popularity Quarter. There are no potential rivers and lakes. On the northern side, there are some valleys and streams but fade away in the summer season.

Yemen is a hydrated country that is located in the middle east region, southwestern side of the peninsula in Western Asia. It is situated in the Eastern and Northern hemispheres. Yemen has shared its border with two countries such as Oman to the east and Saudi Arabia to the North. Yemen has one beach on the RTed Sea to the west.
